about_
Part of the minor house of the future at the TU Delft was a analysis of an already existing "future" house. With a group of four students we chose to analyse a japanese house by SUGAWARADAISUKE, Nojiri-Ko nature platforms. Physical model making was the most important element of this analysis, resulting in a 1:33 presentation model. presentation board design_ We created 4 A2 posters to explain the characteristic elements of the design. An important element of the house was the 3d-continuity of space in the entire house. I tried to visualize this by drawing a perspective section.
physical model making_ During this course model making took an essential part, and therefore learning to use different modelling techniques like CNC-milling, lasercutting, 3d-printing, handicraft and digitalmoddeling. Because of the long duration of the course we could do excessive material studies and tests, resulting in a 1:33 fragment and final presentation model.
